Founded in 1925 by Brothers Richard & Donald, Rheem is a renowned American manufacturer of reliable Air Conditioning and Water Heating solutions with a strong global presence & history that is nearly 100 years old.

Rheem operates in three main business verticals, which are Air Conditioning, Water Heating and Refrigeration. The company owns renowned brands such as Rheem®, Ruud®, Russell, Raypak®, Richmond® and Sure Comfort®.

A global brand

Rheem is a global brand with 7 R&D centers, 10 Laboratories with over 500 engineers and scientists and 25 Manufacturing centers. For many of its Residential and Commercial Air-Conditioning & Water-Heating solutions, Rheem has state of the art manufacturing facilities in North America.

Regional presence

In the Middle East region, Rheem has been serving for more than thirty five years and has installed over a million tons of Air-Conditioning equipment and thousands of Water Heaters through its extensive distribution and service network.

For Middle East and Africa region, Rheem has its HQ in Dubai with dedicated teams in sales, marketing, pricing, logistics and finance functions.

Products and Certifications

Rheem provides a range of Air-Conditioning and Water-Heating products for both commercial and residential applications. The products are complying with regional regulatory bodies such as Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA), Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), Gulf Mark (G-Mark) and comply with international safety regulations as well.

Also, almost all of Rheem air-conditioning products are manufactured with R410A environment friendly refrigerant.

Sustainability - A Rheem initiative

Rheem is committed to Sustainability, offering consumers high-efficiency products whilst reducing the GHG (Green House Gases) emissions by 50% in its global manufacturing operations by 2025. As a global initiative within the Sustainability spectrum, our goal is to train 250,000 contractors & plumbers on sustainable technologies, high-efficiency products and best-practices for product installation. In GCC, Rheem is driving its global vision to be a sustainable organization with products having the highest efficiencies, and training contractors, plumbers, consultants and dealers.

Rheem Innovation & learning centers

In the United States, Rheem has developed Innovation and learning centers (ILC) in Roswell & Dallas, which are designed to showcase the latest, state-of-the-art product innovations by Rheem in the realm of Air-Conditioning & Water-Heating.

Even in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Rheem recently opened a new training center for AC service engineers and mechanics aspiring to enter the HVAC service sector. Using Hands-On live demo training methods as well as presentations and audio-visual tools, this center is fully equipped. It is the first of its kind in the GCC region. Rheem plans to open another such Innovation and Learning Centre in the region very soon.
